Lohamei HaGeta'ot (Lohamey-Ha'getaot)

Kibbutz Lohamei Ha'geta'ot is located in the western Galilee between Acre (Akko) and Nahariya.

At the entrance to the Kibbutz is an aquaduct ,that was built in the Ottoman period, in 1815, and brought water from the Kabri springs (north) to the regional capital, Acre (south).

In the kibbutz is a museum for documenting the Holocaust, the Ghetto Fighters' House, built on a hill in the southern part of the kibbutz, includes the aqueduct, an amphitheater and two museums.

The Museum of the Holocaust and Resistance is named after Yitzhak Katzenelson, a poet and founder of the museum and the Yad Layeled Children's Museum.
