The Ancient Synagogue of Arbel

Ruins of an ancient synagogue.

Jewish settelment at Arbel began during the Second Temple period and continued through the period of the Mishna and Talmud (from the first to the Seventh century CE).

The Synagogue was discovered in 1905 by H. Kohl and C. Watzinger.
